Title: How to Import SACD as album separate from existing FLAC album
Post by: HerbHHH on February 26, 2013, 12:37:52 pm
I'm importing SACD isos in MC18.

If I import the SACD,  Steely Dan - Gaucho.iso,  it gets mixed in with the FLAC version of Gaucho that I already have.  I'd rather have the two versions separate not together in one album listing

Is there a way (tag on import?) to have the SACD imported as a separate album with the name "Gaucho SACD"?

If not, is there a clever way to re-tag the SACDs so that they get split out as a separate album?

Thanks

I have just created additional views in theaterview (see options.png). This gives me the following user experience in theaterview (see MC_audio). The tags like SACD, Multichannel or such are automatically added as my SACD's are in a separate folder and I have several imports defined. So MC tags automatically each file according to the folder it imports from.
