Title: Need Professional Help-CDDB runtime erros
Post by: Bigun on April 06, 2002, 03:40:15 pm
Ok Guys-

I have installed the MP3 Grabber and have the latest Beta of Media Jukebox. It was working this morning, However when I try to run it now, I get a

Runtime-Error 2097414135(82fc0009)
The Control has not been fully initalized. Check Cache Flags and path.

I have Installed and reinstalled the MP3 grabber and Media Jukebox at least a dozen times. Simply doing this will not fix my problem. I have also run Cleansweep and Norton utilities to rid the registry of some possible Problematic DLLS.

My question is this: Does anybody know the specific DLL's and registry entries I need to delete to get this up and running again. I have tagged 1/3 of my files and just can't stomach updating the MP3's one by one within mediajukebox anymore. Its an awesome program, but the cddb area falls a little short for updating large amounts of mp3's.

Thanks in advance,

Bigun

there is a few things you can do

the cddb dlls are somtimes a pain in the A*S

Did you Reboot?

Updated:

you can also delete

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CDDB

and Reboot, reinstall MJ, Reboot that may fix it (there could be other problems due to the CDDB data Base)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

really is the only one.

what happens is the cddb dll will see 2 programs using it under this key, and (i think) there lies the problem.

this is where the CDDB Keycode is (it is encrypted) for each product that is autherized to use the CDDB dll
