Title: Exclusive mode for the Mac

Doesn't appear to be avail yet, is this correct?

Exclusive mode should be working.

It's optional in Options > Audio > Output mode settings, and is on by default.

My choice are Core Audio and Null Mode; are either of these the same thing?

You want Core Audio.

Once that's selected, the 'Output mode settings...' button below that selection offers the device and exclusive option.
