Title: Ability to create and save playlists (inc. from remotes)?
Post by: Crom on February 28, 2013, 04:19:43 pm
Hi guys, in combination with jremote you have a very compelling alternative to the free home theatre software that's out there. It's a joy to use and I can usually find a way to achieve what I want.

I can't find out how to create and store playlists. This is obviously going to be a huge boon to the users of jremote. Is it on the cards to create this functionality and expose it to the appropriate APIs?

I can't find any sort of roadmap where a customer can check what's coming up. Do you publish one?

Thanks,
Crom

I think JRiver team should focus more on API!! Create playlists and linking zones from remotes like JRemote should be taken as a priority!

I would have thought they have plenty to keep them busy ;-) but I agree that an extensible framework within a controlled environment can really stoke innovation.

But it would be useful to understand what the plan is - which was my point about the roadmap.
