Title: search videos as if they were audios?
Post by: rhkrhk on February 28, 2013, 08:26:50 pm
any way to include videos in an audio search?  I have some Elvis, for example, as videos - some as pure audios - if I search on "Elvis" I'd like them all to show

can do?
thanks

There's a little arrow on the left of the search field. You could select "Wizard" and set specific prefs for your search. Be aware that this search is limited to the branch you already have selected, so you need to be high enough in your tree.

Customize one of your existing audio views, or create a new one, and include Media Type=Video (and any other rules you want for including/excluding certain items).  You'll want to uncheck the Use parent scheme rules for file display option.
