Title: More on noise

The same noise is present on CDs ripped through my main computer (as previously described)
and also on vinyl and cassette tapes recorded (Audacity) on my laptop.

The interface is a creative soundblaster USB card    Thx for the laptop, but that wouldnt explain the same sound on playback through the internal disc drive on the main computer


Could this regular grungy noise be from the playback side??
