How to set up meridian explorer, for examle what volumesetting?

Have you tried reading the Wiki article on Audio Output Modes?

Start by setting up a zone which outputs to the Meridian Explorer using WASAPI - Event Style, and set the volume control to Internal Volume.

If you hear any pops and clicks, don't panic. You may need to adjust the buffering size under Options>Audio Output>output mode settings.

Once you get it set up, try some of the other settings such as Loudness and DSP and see if you like them. Enjoy!
