Title: Android App for JR MC18

Hi I am new to this. I purchased MC18 that I use on a Win7 laptop to play hi-res files. I want to be able to use my Android tablet as a remote to control my laptop playing selections in MC18. (my laptop is located near my DAC which is far from my listening position)

What app do I need to purchase? I want to make sure i buy the right one. Thank you for your patience in dealing with a newbie  :)

Uninstall Jplay.  It is a fake.

Gizmo is free to use.  You can read about it on our wiki.

Ok I found Gizmo. Thats what I thought I had to buy. So thats good. Now next question is why do you say JPLay is a fake?  Will i still be able to use it with gizmo as a remote?

We spent a few days looking at jplay.  It doesn't do anything.

You can use Gizmo as a remote.
