Title: won't play downloaded songs!

I started using Audio Galaxy, downloding songs, and some complete albums. At first everything was fine, my downloads were playing on MediaPlayer when selected from AudioGalaxy. I burned a couple of CDs, everything was working fine. I don't know what happened, but now when I try to play the same songs (from Audiogalaxy), MediaPlayer says 'Please select files to play'. I've tried, but can't get them to play. PLEASE, if anyone knows what I need to do, let me know!

Hey I get the same thing... my mpegs and wavs will play, but not mp3! It says that whole "please select a file to play" or something whenever I go file/open media file. I have the mp3 input plugin.... si what's the dealio?

and I think the guy really meant MediaJUKEBOX... cuz we get the same error messages...

Have the files been imported into MJ? Check file associations also. Is there another player that you use also? If so is that taking over? Have the files been converted to mp3 format? Will not play mp3s if there are no mp3s.
