I bought MJ a few months ago. Recently I upgrated from Windows 98 to Windows XP, which meant wiping my hard drive clean and re-downloading MJ. I had backed up the MediaJukebox7.RRG file that I got when I bought MJ, and that file is now in the same folder with MediaJukebox7. However I am being told that MJ is still in demo mode and that I have 24 days left in my trial version. What else do I need to do to get the full version of MJ working that I already paid for?

in MJ Click On Help
Then "Restore License"

Jonathan,
You need to activate your license from MJ. Under Help menu, choose Restore License.

I am having an issue with this also. I had to do a disk wipe and reinstall. When I re-installed MJ, I tried to Restore the license from the Help menu. It tells me that the license has been successfully restored, yet the software is still running in demo mode. The Backup License option is grayed out and the Lame MP3 VBR encoder still says demo. Any ideas?
Thanks

Before making the move to MJ8, be aware that MJ8 is in beta stage of developement and once you make the move, you may never be able to go back to MJ7. Several people have been unable to get 7 to run after trying out 8.
Have you tried re-installing 7 again and restore the license again if it will allow that? Then use the item under help to check for updates. That should get you the latest plugins.

MJ8 Is Stable.

>>MJ8 Is Stable.
I'm glad to see that; only I can't find where JRiver has announced it being released as version 8 final. Could you give me link to that announcement, KingSparta?

That Does not mean it is not stable

>> Once Version 8 Is Installed, And Library Created, It Is Not Possible To Go Back To Free Unlimited Use OF Version 7.
