How can I get into the sub menu inside red october standard and HQ? Thanks

I don't think there is a sub menu.  What are you looking for?

Jimh, what I really want is to go inside the menu of the HQ option to modify the settings . Thanks

But it is not recommended.

If you can say why you want to do this, someone might be able to help.

Thanks. Would like to try different options to verify if I can see real  picture improvement or not.

If you mean madVR's Rendering Options (as decoders don't make a "quality" difference though deinterlacing can) then you want to use RO HQ and when playing a Video you get access to the madVR setting by right click (on the playing video) --> direct show filters --> madVR
