Title: ROHQ issue - video on computer monitor, no video on projector

Have my HTPC plugged into my Lumagen-->Projector chain via HDMI

With RO I can get video, when ROHQ is selected I get no video.

When I use a computer monitor ROHQ gives video.

What do I need to do to get ROHQ working with my projector?

Is the resolution set to something the projector likes?

Yep, and I can see Win8 desktop and the JRiver app, it's only the video playing within JRiver I can't see

This really sounds like Windows is going into extended desktop mode, or the video is being displayed on a phantom monitor, with MC still thinking your monitor is connected. The WIn8 desktop you see - is it the full desktop, or just the desktop background. I don't have Win8 so I am not sure how it does things.

I think you were spot on, it was related to using remote desktop. Rebooted and did not go in via remote desktop. Result = ROHQ working.
