Hello,
I just rebuild a new PC, and ended up with cracking and popping noise when playing Internet Radio Streams. If I play MP3 or even HD Audio 24/192 from my NAS, no problem. If I play to the motherboard Realtek ALC892(WASAPI) or to the ASUS D2X (ASIO) I have the problem. I spend a lot of evenings to find the root cause. The last I thought about was MC, but it's the program!? ?
When I play through VLC Media Player I have no problem. :-[
Who can help?
MC 18.0.146
Solved (by myself); I tried a lot of things, playing with "playback options" (WASAPI > WASAPI EVENT STYLE > Direktsound) made the program hang up. Also playing with DSP Studio bitdepth made the program hang up when moving from 24 > 32 > Source bitdepth. It was on 32 and JRSS mixing. I wanted it to be at Source bitdepth and no mixing, only a reinstall of MC software made it possible. And now no pops and clicks anymore. :P
Now on MC 18.0.106...I am a bit afraid to update...?
