Title: Problem with 96/24 flac on DLNA PS3
Post by: bakeras on March 14, 2013, 06:46:01 pm
I am trying to use the DLNA server to play flacs on my PS3.  I am using the default Playstation3 DLNA server setting in MC18.  44.1/16 flacs play fine and are converted to PCM, but 96/24 flacs say they are unsupported file types.  If I switch the conversion to MP3, then all flacs will play on the PS3 as mp3s.  Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

You should change the audio conversion setting to "convert always" then under the advanced audio settings set the sample rate fixed to either 44100 or 48000.

I will try that.  Will that affect the sample rate of client MCs like the one on my work computer?

No, the client MC's using library server use the client options under media network.
