Title: can you come up with a way to enable winamp visualizations?
Post by: dave on April 03, 2002, 09:53:09 am
I love MJ...i hvae been getting all of the betas.
Many of the visualizations you have are fantastic...  However, recently I tried WinAmp again and realized how great some visualizations are that they have (try El-vis Neuromancer I believe it is called.. it is truly remarkable).

Is there a way in the future to enable suppor tof winamp visualizations?

WinAmp has a great user community (like ours) with many people interested in designing visualizations.  AS they have mroe users, they have great add ons which would be nice to incorporate into MJ

Your best bet is to drop the authors of your favorite plugin a line and ask them about making a Media Jukebox version.  It's a fairly trivial conversion, and then you get the seamless integration that our native display plugins offer.

Take care.

Then why not write a converter?  I don't develop visualizations--are they complied or something?
