Hi Guys,
Just wondering if the Netflix API provides for a feed of the Latest Releases (a la the Netflix app itself) and if so, any chance we could get it added to Netflix genres?
Cheers,
J.

Seconded. In its current State there's really only 3 useful sections. Queue, recs, and search.

FYI - Neflix is starting to kill off their API (http://developer.netflix.com/blog/read/Changes_to_the_Public_API_Program (http://developer.netflix.com/blog/read/Changes_to_the_Public_API_Program)). From all accounts, no new developers will be allowed and no future enhancements are planned. Basically, any new features added to Netflix will not make their API. They appear to be going for a closed 'app only' system that they control.

Yep, I understand that, but I'm talking about the current API as it stands. If it doesn't allow for it, no great problem, but if it does then it would be great to have.

Completely agree. And even these aren't as useful as they could be, because if you add anything to your queue from within Theater View, you then need to restart MC for them to appear there, as if MC only polls the Netflix API on startup as opposed to a timed interval. What if I never shut MC down (as should be the ideal situation)...

Hopefully staying on topic here…
I’m no programmer, so to me everything is possible… Having said that, I’m wondering. Would it be possible for MC to implement something similar to what MS has done for Netflix on the Xbox. I use it for viewing my Netflix content but it would be nice if MC was able to do this instead.

Using 154
When we try to launch Netlfix using the MC icon in theater view it just sits. We can open a browser and launch from a web page and works fine.
