Title: Getting Two MC's to read a single playlist
Post by: mseeley on March 23, 2013, 10:44:02 am
I have MC 18 running on two desktops on the same network.  Both access music files on a NAS.  Is there a way to get them to read from the same playlist files?  I want to be able to use one of the desktops to  create/modify playlists and have MC on the other desktop recognize these changes automatically.  Currently I have to duplicate efforts on both desktops for the playlist to be identical (i.e. each MC is pulling playlists from from their local and separate C: drives).

Also, when I burn/download music files to the NAS on one desktop, is there a setting that would enable me to access those files on the second desktop automatically?  I have both configured to "auto-import" the appropriate folders on the NAS, but I am still having to manually import the new files/folders on the second desktop - they aren't being recognized automatically.

Hope this all makes sense and appreciate any help!!

This approach might work:
