Title: When accessing MC audio via DNLA why are my FLACs being converted to MP3?

I started using the trial version of MC 18 earlier today and it automatically imported all the FLAC files that I previously created by ripping about 20 CDs using dBpoweramp.

After turning on the DNLA features in MC's Options, my Oppo BDP-95 universal disc player (which also has some streaming capabilities) could then browse and play all these music files via my network. However, the Oppo tells me it is playing MP3 files, even though it can handle FLACs. How can I stop this conversion taking place?

Tools > Options > Media Network > Add or Configure DLNA servers... > Audio > Convert: Never Convert.

Many thanks for a rapid solution!

I had already seen a similar looking setting under Tools > Options > Media Network > Client Options and found it was not relevant to this issue. For some reason, I overlooked the Add or configure DNLS servers option. Perhaps I need new glasses!

The haggis doesn't really have that effect - but the Scotch whisky does!
