Title: Viewing/sorting lossy vs lossless Apple files ? [solved]

Is there any way that a MC18 View can distinguish between lossy .m4a files (AAC) and lossless .m4a files (ALAC)?

I have previously been using File Type rules for views that exclude lossy files, but I have been running into a problem with .m4a including both lossy and lossless...

Does the 'Compression' field contain anything useful?

Yes indeed !

Lossy say "MP4 AAC" and Lossless say "ALAC", so that works, thanks.
