Title: Future plans for Automator support?
Post by: BartMan01 on March 25, 2013, 10:08:11 pm
Are there any future plans (even distant future) for Automator support?  If not, take a look at what Automator can currently do with iTunes to get some idea of the powerful scripting and automation that it can bring to the table.  Check this link for a pretty good list of what people have it doing for iTunes today:  http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scrxcont.php (http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scrxcont.php)

The web service, MCWS, now works in Mac.  It allows rich control of the program (look at JRemote as an example).

Sure, MCWS used with any scripting language can be used to build complex scripted JRiver processing.
I've already done interfaces with Java, Groovy and Node.js
