Library Server was working fine.
I rated some 200 songs on JRemote.
Then suddenly JRemote lost the connection.
Normally when this happens (it does from time to time), i go to Options/Media Network/Access Key: …/Test Connection and the connection reestablishes.
Not so today.
Now i get the following error message:
I then reset my authentication because i thought that would improve things.
I reinstalled MC 10.0.156 on my MacMini with OS 10.6.8 and rebooted the machine.
But that didn't improve anything.
I always get the above error message now.
Before it worked fine.
Looking at the message, it says i need an unblocked connection to the internet.
There is nothing that blocks my internet connection.
Could there be something wrong on JRiver's side?
What can i do?

I'm having this issue too. No system changes, just suddenly can't register. MC18 v18.0.0158.

I'm having problems with Library server as well since the latest version .156. I have 2 macs running media center, one as library server and one as client. Now my client can not use the library of the server anymore (was working fine before).
I can use JRemote and I see the zone of the library server on the client and I can play to it as well, I just can not use the library of it. The error window I get says:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
there was a problem loading the library "my library name".
Pleae ensure that your network connection is available and that the server is running properly.
options:
retry
load the library main library
load a different library
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I hit retry once or twice, MC crashes.
I have tried reinstalling MC on the client also but no difference.

We're working on it now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Sorry for the trouble.

Yeah - works again, thanks!
Would you tell us what went wrong?

A server at JRiver knew we were all trying to have a relaxing Easter weekend ;)
