Title: auto-import issue

When I run auto-import, it reports to be "adding files to library" and "updating library to match" even when I have made no changes.

It seems to always have done this.

I think there are certain file types that are re-read every time it runs auto-import.... that could be by design, or it could be a long-standing bug that is rarely noticed because it does not cause a problem...

If it's just a few files, I would ignore it for the reason's kstuart said.

If it's 1000s of files, you might use Help > Logging and see if the log shows what files it is working on.
