Title: How can I remove duplicates of an expression result?

In View, Set rules for files display, how may I set "Remove duplicates of" an expression of mine?

The drop-down to the right of "Remove duplicates of" does not explicitly offer to accept an expression.

This drop-down offers Custom, but I cannot see where to enter my expression as the custom value. Entering it in place of Custom in Import/Export fails.

This drop-down does not offer the Expression Library Field I created having this expression.

Restart MC to get the custom field to appear in the drop down.

If you know any other functions that require restart to work, I'd be grateful to know.
