The sidecar files give more info than I require, so I went to manage Library fields and disabled the fields I did not require saving in the file tags. Having gone through the whole list of fields and clicking on OK for each field (an "Apply" button would be useful), I find that it makes no difference. the sidecar files still contain the unwanted info, even after deleting and updating from Library. What am i doing wrong? Can anybody help?
P.S I would much prefer the tags to be written to the MP4 video files directly but that isn't possible is it?
