Just downloaded new mjr files via the restore page (used up 3), but the new mjr file doesnt work. It
says it needs an associate program.
Please advise
-
Right click on the file and use "save as" (save to your desktop or wherever you will be able to find it). After it is downloaded, then click on it.

Please read the instructions carefully. You must have MC installed.

I think the problem could be as I tried to install with Totalcommand shell installed and not with windows explorer shell?
I Restarted windows with explorer shell, but still does not recognise it.
Thanks

You need to change the file association of the .MJR file so that windows opens it with Media Center.
If you have the option "Select program to open this file with" on that prompt you are getting, then do that, and look for Media Center in the list of programs. If you can't find it then use the browse option to find the Media Center executable file, at the location you installed it to.
You should also be able to change the association by viewing the file properties in explorer (right-click and select properties on selected file)

If you install the latest version from the top of this board (18.0.164), you can enter your Registration Code in the program.
There's no longer a need to deal with MJR files (unless you're trying to restore to a machine with no Internet connection).
