Title: problem with audiovideo files m2ts

i have installed the trial version of JRiver on my computer Imac (Windows Seven Ultimate N with Nvidia Geforce 8800 GS e Intel Core 2 Duo 2,8 gHz)

i have some files m2ts with the video track :

codec: vc-1

track info :

profile: advanced@3 Resolution : 1920:1080i frame rate : 29.97

JRiver don' t play these files

why ?

My guess is thats because its a "N" version of Windows, the Microsoft decoder is used for decoding VC-1, and if that is not present, then it won't work.

how do i know if the Microsoft decoder used for decoding VC-1 is present in my computer ?

VLC opens and plays these audiovideo files.
