Did a few searches and found nothing so if its been asked i am sorry.
With MC18 i try and use it with my ipod and it seems to work fine, however, after it has converted my files to mp3, when i open up the media player i now have 2 copies of hte songs, one lossless and one mp3. I figured out its all stored in the conversion cache folder of MC but i dont want to have to delete the mp3's everytime i convert for any reason. Is there a way to set MC so it does NOT store the converted files once they are synced?

You can turn off the conversion cache in Options > File Location > Conversion Cache.
It'll make future syncs slower, but if you have a fast computer that can do 4+ conversions at once, it might not matter much.

I tryed that but it still retained the mp3 files after sync was complete. I will give it another go since i have an i5 with 4 cores and only sync a few songs at a time ( i dont keep my entire collection on my portable, just a few i want to hear for the day).
