Title: Windows bar showing on return from standby

I seem to be going round in circles a bit with this.
Latest problem seems to be returning from standby the windows bar is visible on the screen and I don't have remote control focus.
Any suggestions?

Have you installed any software recently that puts anything in the notification area in the lower right corner?
