Title: Conversion of flac to DSD 128 won't work?
Post by: sjoc2000 on April 10, 2013, 01:30:54 pm
Hello;

Conversion of flac to DSD 64 (2.8 MHz) works great, but JRiver will not convert a flac 24/176 to DSD 128 (5.6 MHz).  The encoder has been set to DSD 128 in i's DSD setting.  What am I doing wrong?

It's working here.

Make sure you can play the original file to prove it's valid.

Also, make sure you have plenty of disk space.

Thanks for your response Matt.

Guess I should have been more specific.  If you set the encoder to DSD, then to 2.8 MHz., then convert, then JRiver does a perfect job of the conversion for that rate.

If you set the encoder to DSD, then to 5.6 MHz., then convert, then JRiver does not convert the file to 5.6 MHz., but then again converts to 2.8 MHz .

I have 600 GB of room on the disk.
