Title: How to change cover art

I am trying to change the cover art for some albums.

I select Cover Art\Remove Cover Art it reverts to a blank image.
Select Cover Art\Get From Internet... - it displays the image, select Save Cover Art and it changes the album image.

As soon as I select another album (or the previously selected image loses focus), the cover art reverts back to the original image I am trying to change.
If I leave it at No Cover Art, the default No Cover Art image sticks. As soon as I try to assign a new image, it will always revert back to the previous image. I have managed to change cover art images previously, I dont know why these series of albums wont stick.

Read-only media, files, or folders?

Cover art exists in the media's folder and the command is only removing the embedded cover art?

I have found the problem. The write tags to AIFF/WAV files was disabled under Input plugins to solve another issue with constantly updating files. Re-enabled as was able to save cover art.
