Running MC 18
I recently bought AnyDVDHD and installed.
Last night I tried ripping a BluRay using MC for the first time ( I have ripped them before using other software, never using MC). I started the rip before I went to bed. When I came down this morning the disc was ejected, looked that it ripped with no issue. Files are on the NAS drive, cover art and info are in MC.
But...
When I go to play it, the time starts ticking off, I can skip chapter back and forth, but I get nothing but a black screen and no sound even though it's reporting that the DTS Ma ia being sent mutichannel to the receiver. It looks like its playing normally except no picture or sound!
What am I missing? Did I need to do more when I installed AnyDVD HD to make it work properly with MC?
Thanks! Sorry for the dumb question.

It should be fine to play like any other BD disc except it is now decrypted on the disc so AnyDVD HD should have done its job. Do you have any issues playing back BD's in general?
-
What build of are you using? Please try the one at the top of this board.
-
Jim- Just checked and its 18.0.158- which I see is older than the one on the board. I will update and let you know.
jmone- I have about a dozen ripped BD's that play fine.
-
Updated to 18.0.166- still the same issue.
-
So is it just the one BD Rip that does not play (if so which one?)
-
Also make sure you have the latest version of AnyDVD-HD (a new version was released today, I believe). Some discs have newer copy protection, which require new iterations of AnyDVD-HD to rip/play properly.

Yes- just this one particular BD is giving me trouble.
I did get that last AnyDVD update just after I ripped this BD. Should I delete the last rip and try again?
-
Things to try:
- Can you play the disc as it is, if so then Rip It again.
- If the disc will not play then what disc is it (I'm interested in case it has a different format to your others, eg a Concert Video disc may have a 60i stream not a 24p stream or it has VC1 encoding not 264 etc).

The BD is Joe Bonamassa- A Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House.
Yes- it plays fine from the Disc.
I deleted it out of the Library (and Drive) and re-ripped overnight. Now it Plays!
So it was either the update for AnyDVD or the MC Update to .166, not that it matters since it works now.
Thanks for the help!
