Title: Cover Art and Images
Post by: nelsentkd on April 16, 2013, 10:29:55 am
If I don't have cover art for an album, I used to be able to execute Images, find the art and copy to clipboard. It doesn't put the image on the clipboard anymore. I have to go to my web browser and navigate to Google - Images. Then I can copy the image to the clipboard and paste in Cover Art. I remember that used to work before MC 18. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

you the album you want to get cover art. Right click and in the context menu choose cover art > get from internet or > get from file if yow have downloaded a cover

My situation is when "get from internet" is not successful.

That sounds like the same issue as described here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=79756.msg542332#msg542332 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=79756.msg542332#msg542332)

I assume that when you say you "execute Images" you are talking about a link at the top of the Media Center Window?

One possible workaround would be to right-click it and go to "Manage Links". There, you can set it to "Open in external browser" rather than opening inside Media Center, and you should be able to copy & paste from that.

Changing the engine to Chromium rather than Internet Explorer (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=79756.msg542395#msg542395) also seems to solve the problem.

Thanks for the help! It didn't help to change to Chromium as the engine. No right-click options showed up that way. I changed to use the external browser as the best option. It is still not as good as the older versions, but win some, lose some.
