Title: MKV seamless branching

I don't see it anywhere here being reported, but since this last .170 version MC with latest LAV filters can now play MKV files with seamless branching, embedded fonts and all that jazz. Supremely cool, thanks Nev!

For the uninitiated I think I wrote something about this around 2011... here. (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=64827.0) Should still hold true today.

Yup - Nevcairiel and JR worked on this so a whole heap of the MKV features nevcairiel added to his LAV filters are now exposed in MC.  I'm thinking Matt was too engrossed in the experimental Gizmo Remote changes to add comments to the feature list.  ::)

I need to test if he added the Edition switch in Theater View as well that i asked for... :p

This sounds great. How do the Editions options get presented in theatre view?

Is xin1generator still the way to go?

Editions are currently only available from the right-click menu.

We'll add them to the OSD in the next week.  If it doesn't happen, please bump this thread and give us a talking to (preferably in German).

If possible what would be good would be an option to pop up before playing when the title is selected in theatre view, since a lot of the time one may not recall if that title has alternate versions.

What a great idea, a Menu that you could bring up for these and say as well BD!   ;D

But BD already has such a menu. Granted you can only summon it when playback started, but thats hardly a problem. :p
