Title: Help! I do not understand replies to my JRemote problem

My original post "JRemote No Longer Works" has been moved to another area which does not allow me to post anything further, so I'm starting over.

No matter what I do to connect my iMac to JRemote on iPhone or iPad, it tells me "Connection Failure: Could not connect to server; make sure it's available."

I have checked to make sure my Mac's firewall is turned off. I always have JRiver open on my Mac and even the box at Tools/Options open.

Can someone please help!?
