Title: Controller/transport bar

Hi,
Regarding the Controller/transport bar showing and hiding while full screen in non-theatre mode (normal jriver). while in fullscreen watching a video/movie the bar doesn't always show when i move mouse to the top of the screen. i have to click once on the video then move mouse to the top to get it to show. then once it shows, then hides, i have to click the video again to make it show. it has been this way for years.
I'm using the latest 18 .171 jriver now.

Are you using Red October or Red October HQ for video playback?

just tried RO standard, happens in that mode too. no different

this problem seems to be fixed in 18.0.178

The problem has returned since updating to .180

Have reverted back to .178 to solve this problem.

I can confirm that I am seeing the same behavior. I actually like it better since an accidental mouse movement doesn't bring up the menu.

you would have to move the mouse quite a bit than being a slight nudge from the centre to edge of screen to the display menu. i use the onscreen menu quite a bit. inconvenient for this feature not to work as it should.

It's always been an intermittent issue for me, and even less frequently (I haven't noticed it for a while now) the video is displayed on top of other windows when alt-tabbing.

I'm just in the habit of clicking first before I move the mouse to the top of the screen as that seems to always work.

yes i do believe it is the reason for this situation. The video is 'always on top' and JRiver show/hide transport controller window, background.

I waited to see if he'd comment, but Matt added additional fixes for this in the most recent beta version.  It seems to have solved it for me.
