Title: Mini view: "Show Alternate Display Text" gone?
Post by: audioriver on April 26, 2013, 11:08:36 am
I was used to CTRL+2 to make room and keep listening to music, then right-click on the Display and select Show Alternate Display Text for more "mini-friendly" display options. It seems this is not possible any more and the option is only available in Standard View. Maybe you could put it back, or even add a keyboard shortcut for it.

Also, it's been a while that the Display has stopped scrolling the information when there is no space, keeping it hidden (unreadable).

I can confirm this, and I can't get Alt+M to switch between display modes in any view.

I also wonder if the height of the spectrum analyzer should be reduced (or just disabled) when using the mini player to avoid truncating the name?

...and there is still no scrolling, with or without the analyzer. Names are permanently truncated if there's no space.

(edit: come to think of it, the playback buttons seem disproportionally big for a mini-player)
