I now have all my Music on an external harddisc and I would like to use it as my main Library on JRiver (need more room on my Laptop). Problem is I can not manage to connect it (usb-harddrive). Is this possible and if it is how do I do it, please!

I had the same issue with a Western Digital external hard drive that I wasn't able to overcome. I purchased a 4TB Seagate and am using it with great success.
Who is the manufacturer of your hardware?

Hei, my hard drive is a 1TB Iomega. I did not imaging that different manufactors of hard drives could make trouble like this - I`m generally like a fool operating my laptop you see!
Any way - thank you so much for your reply!

When you connect the drive, does it show up with a drive letter in Explorer? If so, ask MC to import files from it. Tools/Import/Autoimport/Add

Thank you very much, sorry, but I have to try this to morrow morning. We have some visitors here, me and my wife, and in Norway its 0925 in the evening now. I will let you know!
Best regards

You need to answers Jims question. There's not enough detail here for people to give you an answer
