Title: Why is my license limited?

When I enter my license number in JRiver it isn't accepted.  When I ask for a number from JRiver, it says "9 restores left," for example.  WHY is my paid-for license key not accepted by JRiver for Mac, and when I ask for a key, why does it keep incrementing downward the number of restores I have left?
