Title: Cannot create plug-in 'mp3 encoder' error 80040154

When I try and rip a cd I get this error message - it seems to download the plug in but it always comes up w/this error w/either type of mps choosen.

What version of MJ?

Exactly what are you doing when you get the error?

I've installed andf uninstalled both 7 and beta 8.  I click rip - go to options, click incoding, choose MP3 incoder, it asks me if I want to install it, I say yes (the 1st couple of times it gave me an error message - invalid package file - and then after it sucessfully downloads I try and run copy and I get this error message.  I'm using win 2k.  Thanks

Try using IE to download the encoder plugin.
