I have been using MC for MAC since the first release and I have been enjoying the evolution to an already great player.
It is almost the perfect solution if I could sync my iPod with the library in MC. I know it is difficult to predict, but I am nevertheless very curious to know if the integration with portable media players has been already planned and considered for future releases.
Again congratulation for the excellent progress in such short time

Thanks for the kind words. It isn't a question of supporting media players. The problem is that Apple encrypts the database on the iOS devices. Even if we broke their encryption, which is illegal under US law, they could change it anytime, and probably would.
This is an Apple problem. Please tell them what you want.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for the quick response.
Would the iPod Classic have the same limitations of the other iOS devices? How about different media players like the Cowon J3, can they eventually be synced with MC library?

I think that the first iPod that broke support was the iPod Video.
You could read more on the iPod board here.

Jim,
How about portable media players other than Apple? When will they be supported in MC for MAC?
