Title: video playback zoom in out
Post by: raumklang on May 13, 2013, 04:45:25 pm
is in mc 17 a zoom in and out function for video playback ?

i just find an aspect ratio correction.

i found this feature of the vlc player very helpful to minimize the projection of the beamer when the distance between beamer and screen was to far.

is in mc 18 such a feature available ?

The mouse scroll wheel zooms.  It should be remembered in the next play.

i did try to zoom with the mouse scroll, - the mouse scroll just worked for me for volume control and for back - forward  playbacktime.

what i did find was:

while playing back a video and clicking on the right mouse button there is also:

window: fit window
            100 %
            200 %

when selecting 100 % it seems the size of the screen is the half of the normal size, and 200 % is double the normal size.

the thing is, - 100 % is still to large for my screen.

what can i do ?

In full screen mode, try pressing the down arrow key. The OSD should cycle through Volume, Audio streams etc, and one of the options there should be Zoom.

Incidentally, what are you trying to achieve? If it's fitting the video to your screen, don't use 100% or 200%. Use "Fit to window"
