Title: Cable card- Synology NAS - The Ceton InfiniTV 4 qquestions

Ive been trying to figure out a solution for accessing and recording cable channels, including all premium channels. I have tried hDHomerun without success. In my research within JRiver i found the Ceten product that JR supports. Im not a wiz at this stuff and am not aware of all the many elements that come into play. I am hoping to get some input to be able to use my Synology Diskstation 1812 for primary storage sending recordings to it.

Right now, support for Ceton and other CableCARD devices is limited to "copy free" channels.  Premium channels are not supported.  We are not sure whether we will support premium channels in the future.
