Title: 64-bit-incompatible DSP/VST plugin
Post by: aterphasma on May 18, 2013, 11:50:29 pm
I'm curious if there's any way to convert the internal bit depth to something other than 64-bit for DSP processing. I've got a VST plugin (DH Wrapper by tastymousakas: it's supposed to take a 5.1 source and convert it to a surround-style stereo mix for headphone listening; it actually works pretty well) that refuses to process 64-bit audio. I'm sure there's a reason, but I don't know why.

If there's any other way someone knows of for converting a 6 channel audio source down to 2 channels for surround-style headphone listening, I'm all ears.

Thanks!

I use Tone Boosters TB Isone Surround- works well with MC18.
