Title: Problem to play ALAC-Files with MC & FireWire-Weiss DAC2

Just installed MC on my 8GB-Macmini (OSX 10.8.3) with my FireWire-WEISS Dac2  ... it works, but when i play ALAC-Files the Music stutter & sizzle and ist sounds if the Music plays a little to fast. Its the same Bug as with the MC-Versions before under OSX 10.6.8 . What can i do  ?

Do they play ok on the internal Mac sound system?  Is it just ALAC format files with the problem?  Can you 'dropbox' a file to me to test here?

Hello John,

with the internal MacSoundSystem MC plays the ALAC-Files without any problems. The stutter & sizzle comes only when i played ALAC or FLACs over FireWire with the WEISS-Dac. When i played the same Files over a M2Tech-HiFace-USB>SP/Dif-Converter to the Sp/Dif-In of the WEISS-Dac ist works without any Problems.

Hello John,

the Problem is solved ! I played around with the OperationMode of the WEISS Firewire IO - Settings ... and when i change from  "Safe Mode Level 3"-Mode to "Normal"-Mode MC played the Music fine and without any stutter & sizzle :)
