Post by: High-End on May 26, 2013, 05:59:41 am
hallo

I want to use my audio-pc just to feed an external DAC via MC.
Did I have to install the motherboard windows 7 audio drivers?

regards

Yes, you will still need a driver for your Audio Device so MC can communicate with it (be it WASAPI, ASIO, SPDIF, Direct Show etc)  If Windows can see the device them MC can play to it.

If you are using an external DAC, you can just disable the on-board sound via the BIOS, if you don't have any plan on using it. (this is what I do)
