Title: Sync Queue Issue with Albumst that start with '...'
Post by: BartMan01 on May 28, 2013, 10:32:21 pm
I have a couple of albums that start with '...' (like "...And Justice for All").  When syncing these to a drive 'device', they always show as 'In Queue' after sync and will repeatedly sync with (1), (2), (3), etc in the newly created file names.  Is this a bug or is there a known way to prevent?

You could try doing a find & replace of ... with an ellipsis character:

That is a thought, just concerned that would cause issues with some devices.  Not sure when this started happening, but it definitely didn't always work this way.

I think back in MC17 leading dots were removed as they caused issues with some Android devices.

I can't find the specific change log line.

Thanks - good to know it's not a bug.  I've since resolved it with a variety of means - physically renaming some directories and setting up a handheld sync rule to replace ... with _ in the directory structure.
