Hi,
I discovered, just this morning, MC for Mac was in beta and did several hundred back flips of joy. My prayers are truly answered -- THANK YOU.
On my machine, though, 18.0.191 crashed instantly whenever Media Library:Audio was clicked. Checking to see if a preference had randomly been corrupted, I foolishly threw away the contents of Library/Application Support/J River, assuming it would re-generate upon relaunching the app. Whoops!
It now tells me my trial license has expired. I applied for an extension, but that code also does not work. Anything I can do?
Thanks so much for your time.

Did you try reinstalling?
I don't know what you mean by "Media Library:Audio". Where do you see it?
-
Hi,
I deleted the app from Applications, and dragged a fresh one in from the .dmg.
(Wow, thanks for answering so quickly)
-
Sorry, "Audio" on the left-most pane.
-
Try setting your Audio in Tools/Options/Audio.
-
I can no longer start the program -- "The trial period has expired."
I just installed it this morning, but I believe screwed it up by deleting the contents of the "Library/Application Support/J River" folder. Silly move!

Check your system date. It may be incorrect.
-
Seems to be okay. (It's set by a time server.)
-
Just realized that was poorly worded -- the computer's time/date settings are okay. But MC still thinks the trial period is over.
It will accept a trial extension code, but then quit & still say the trial is over upon relaunch.
-
Did you install an older build more than a month ago?
-
Hi, JimH,
No, just found out the Mac beta existed this morning.
-
I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer.
-
Yikes. Okay, I really appreciate your time today. Thank you.
Maybe I can convince a friend to let me try it on their machine.
