updated to windows 8 from windows 7. no longer does JRiver change refresh rates automatically watching video. using same win7/8 drivers for intel graphics. is this a common problem?
-
Anyone else? Will i need to go back to windows 7?
Also notice lagging and struggling video with ROHQ. never seen these problems when using windows 7

It's working fine for me. (though due to a bug, it switches to 23/59Hz rather than 24/60Hz on Windows 8)
Have you updated your Intel Graphics drivers, rather than using the default ones that ship with Windows?
-
odd. yep, it's the latest driver from intel website.

ahhh, just tested 25fps and 29fps and they work, but yes it's the 23.98fps that doesn't, well my monitor doesn't do 23hz, only 24 refresh, so makes sense it wont change if there is a bug not allowing 24hz. so yep, have got that bug too.
