Title: AU sounds do not play in MJ

Hi

My collection of AU sound clips do not play in MJ 8.0.234 - just produce static.  I have the same problem with a number of WAV files.  I vaguely remember reading it's something to do with compression ratio.  Can anyone confirm this?  Can I convert these files to play in MJ?
