Title: Problem with "My Connected Media" after installing MC 18.0.194

I recently downloaded MC 18.0.194 onto my home and work computers (Windows 7, 64 bit). In both instances it seems to have wiped out all of my saved presets in "My Connected Media". Additionally, when I now try to stream or save any music channels streaming in MP3 format I get a message it can't be played because I am missing a plug-in. How do I fix this problem , and also how do I avoid losing my presets on future downloads of new MC versions?
